Waite Park Community Council Meeting: Feb. 3
On February 3, the Waite Park Community Council will be hosting Steve Larson, the Community Coordinator from Restorative Justice Community Action (RJCA). Restorative Justice works in Minneapolis neighborhoods to strengthen offender accountability for livability crimes by empowering local citizens to participate directly in the justice process. RJCA currently operates in other parts of the city and has now kicked off their program in the Second Precinct starting this year.
Steve will be on hand to educate residents about the Restorative Justice program model and take any questions you may have about the citizen participation process. You can learn more at the Restorative Justice website.
The Waite Park Community Council meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., in the Waite Park Community Center at 1810 34th Ave. NE. We hope to see you there!
