- i manage the financial literacy program at womenventure, a non profit economic development agency where our mission is to assist women in achieving their own economic success and prosperity. if you are looking to start a business or going through a career transition check us out! www.womenventure.org (we do serve men too) i am also a part time student at MCTC and i serve on the board of directors at the eastside food coop. i enjoy cooking and eating organic whole foods, dancing, hiv/aids awareness, visiting my grandmother, equal rights, individuality, riding my bicycles as often as possible, hanging out with close friends, relationships, making jewelry, live music, animal rights, kitties, minneapolis, the moon, collective consciousness, spirituality, massage therapy, yoga, creation, getting deep with people, the struggle, knitting, the underdogs in life, multi-tasking, organizing my stuff, writing, thrift shopping, vintage swimsuits, shoes, eating with chopsticks, the color green, freedom, politics, corduroy, indian food, loyalty, wrapping presents
- What I Love About Northeast:
- i was born here and spent my kindergarten and first grade year of school at holland elementary school. we moved when i was 7 and i relocated back in ne when i was 21 and i have been here for 12 years now. i love so much about ne! i love the houses, the people, all the new businesses that are springing up, our coop, the quietness and safety i feel here, my neighbors, all the art and art makers who are here, our view of the city from the plymouth bridge, the train tracks, our place on the river.
